Since first launching this entertainment venue’s site years ago, the Butler Arts & Events Center had grown. The team was responsible for managing more events and university departments, including athletics, e-sports, camps, and facility rentals among others. In addition, the university’s brand had also evolved. Our new design approach needed to accommodate all of the new event types, as well as better align with the overall brand, while still standing out on its own.
On the frontend, our focus was simplicity and ease of use, while also putting a heavier emphasis on creating a more user-friendly mobile experience in helping users find the perfect show. On the backend, our goal was to streamline the management process to help support their team’s day-to-day workflow.
