We were honored to partner with the Indiana State Museum to architect, design, and develop a new web site. Our goal was to create an immersive and dynamic user experience to showcase and promote all the great things happening here in this statewide system, as well as increase the awareness of the connections between our downtown museum, historic sites across the state and, of course, the Museum’s unique approach to using people, places, and things to tell stories about our State’s past, present, and future.

It was important that we find ways to tell compelling stories about how our statewide system works together to preserve and propel the Indiana stories that have shaped, and continue to shape, the lives of Hoosiers. We also needed to make it very easy to navigate our unique programming and activities — so families of all ages and interests could find their way to engaging experiences. Our hope was that this new digital headquarters would help maximize the resources being invested in advertising, marketing, social media, and PR communications.

This historic build was hand-coded with 13,632 lines of CSS, 2,160 lines of Javascript, 66 custom template files, 31 modular page elements and a smokin’ icon suite featuring more than 84 unique illustrations designed to capture the museum and historic site experience, as well as the imagination.
