Indiana State Museum

To launch a new summer campaign designed to showcase the breadth of experiences the Indiana State Museum offers people of all ages and interests, we leaned into outdoor, radio, and digital media to help tell our story. The message: if you’re into art, science, culture, or history (and you’re somewhere between 3 and 133 years old), you’ll discover some eye-opening experiences in downtown Indianapolis (or one of the Museum’s eleven historic destinations across the state)! You’ll have to see it for yourself. And then see it again.

VO: Where to go? What to do? Today, we have so many options. And a million distractions that keep us from connecting with families and friends in meaningful ways.

What if you could find a place that had something . . . for everyone?

A place using its collection of artifacts and statewide destinations to share powerful stories about our past, present, and future!

At the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites, dad can get his history fix‚ whether he’s exploring architectural marvels along the Ohio River, or soaking up stories of the Emancipation Proclamation.

The kids will be engaged with outdoor activities and hands-on experiences — from wetland trails to ice age tunnels.

And mom will find inspiration in art — whether she’s strolling the Brown County studio of TC Steele, or visiting the Hoosier Salon Fall exhibition in downtown Indy.
