Irvington – Branding
Lincoln’s funeral train stopped here. The original Butler campus called Irvington home. Dillinger’s first hold-up occurred just down the street. In a community where pride and history matter more to its residents than a zip code, this identity and branding project became a very public affair and one that was much discussed in and around area businesses. It was refreshing to see so much involvement and enthusiasm as we worked to capture the essence of this one-of-a-kind neighborhood. Creatively, we wanted to reflect the issues that drive the promise of an Irvington lifestyle: safety, community, public spaces, investment, convenience and a return to traditional values. As the home of Lodge, we also had a personal interest in seeing our neighborhood’s image and economic health thrive. After all, there’s so much here we love, too.
